Why file format is wbfs not iso
Cause we can only find WBFS file format for this game ^^
Not work idiot

the type of the files is DEC, my dolphin emulators cannot runs it. How can i fix it?
https://archive.org/details/nNASOS1.8 Download the zip of the files and extract the files into a folder, to extract a rom drag the rom onto the .exe the command prompt should popup and extract the ISO from the .dec file ^^
how do I change the file via mobile
https://www.quora.com/How-can-I-extract-RAR-files-in-an-Android-phone, find more solutions on google ^^
bro the language in game isnt “multi” but only japan
Sorry, we put “multi” for almost all the games in this web cause we can’t find exact what languages each game has and we also don’t have time for that ^^
Hey, how do you download this? I downloaded them into winrar files and extracted them to an empty file on desktop. My WBFS can’t even detect the files I downloaded. What do I do to have my WBFS detect downloaded files? They can detect other files but the one’s I downloaded for this game.
Did you check the type of the files you got after you extracted? Otherwise, check this: https://www.reddit.com/r/WiiHacks/comments/2f11dv/wii_backup_manager_and_wbfs_manager_cant_see_any/ :((
Yo thanks for the help to download. I got it downloaded just fine, but every time I try to load up the game, it doesn’t work and just fades out to black. And don’t give me that bullshit about me having to switch my Wii for region or some bullshit. I don’t mean to be rude, but that’s how it is. I was able to play Sengoku Basara 3 Utage just fine, but Sengoku Basara 2, not even able to load the game. Just a black screen. I was able to load other Japanese games like Naruto Shippuden Gekitou Ninja Taisen Special. You mind helping me out on this?
Tbh, we only provide links on this web, we don’t have the facilities or the time to test the files so most of our solutions are what we can find on the internet, so we also can’t say if it’s gonna work or not, sorry for that first. This is the only information we could find: https://gbatemp.net/threads/trouble-with-sengoku-basara-heroes-2-double-pack-usb-loader.200613/ . Hope that it can help you, but it isn’t, sorry again :((
Hey, so the download went perfectly fine. I’m just not able to load the game. Mind helping me out with this, my good sir? I’m able to load any other Japanese game except this one. I’m able to load Sengoku Basara 3 Utage and Naruto Shippuden Gekitou Ninja Taisen, but not this. Please help me with this.
Just replied your previous comment ^^
My bad. My previous comment disappeared so I restated my comment.
Does the link I gave you do any helps? :((
No it unfortunately didn’t. I got confused here. The dude downloaded the 2nd WBFS file and not the second from a different website that apparently got taken down. Or at least the page or user of that website was banned thus rendering the link useless. The file I downloaded from this website had 2 files. Was one of them supposed to be a notepad or did I mess up something? I remember turning the first file into a notepad, but deleted it and redownloaded it. But for some reason, when I downloaded it, it downloaded as a notepad or something when before, it clearly didn’t. So did I mess something up? How do I turn it back to it’s original file or something?
At this point, I think you should redownload and reinstall from the beginning :((
What do you mean reinstall from the beginning? I’ve tried to reinstall from this same website, but it keeps giving a damn notepad for the first file. Both files used to look like normal files, but now, every time I download, it downloads as a notepad for whatever reason.
Oh my god we only provide links, we don’t even have a device to check all the files and games. Maybe you chose “Always use this app to open this file” so it becomes notepad everytime you download. If it still appears like that, try download the 1fichier link and also download this: https://archive.org/details/nNASOS1.8 (How it works: Download the zip of the files and extract the files into a folder, to extract a rom drag the rom onto the .exe the command prompt should popup and extract the ISO from the .dec file.)
I downloaded it at 1fichier, it’s been extracted why is the file format so “.dec”?
https://archive.org/details/nNASOS1.8 Download the zip of the files and extract the files into a folder, to extract a rom drag the rom onto the .exe the command prompt should popup and extract the ISO from the .dec file.
Alright my comment hasn’t appeared on my screen so Ima’ tell you that whenever it downloads, the first file turns into a notepad. How do I make it so that it doesn’t turn into a notepad? The first time I downloaded, it wasn’t a notepad until I changed it to a notepad. Now whenever I download, it always changes to a notepad. The first file.
Which file is the .dec file? I was able to download the zip. Extract the zip into a file, but I don’t know what you mean by dragging the rom. Which file is the rom. I managed to figure out which file was the .exe, but not which file is rom. I have never done this before.
Download this: https://archive.org/details/nNASOS1.8 (How it works: Download the zip of the files and extract the files into a folder, to extract a rom drag the rom onto the .exe the command prompt should popup and extract the ISO from the .dec file.)
Look, bro. I know you don’t check the files, but I did the first two things you told me. I downloaded the zip of the files. I then extracted them into a file like you said. Now the confusing part is that I’m asking which file is a rom. Like bro. There are 5 files in there. Which one am I supposed to grab and drag onto the exe file. I found the exe file. I just don’t know how to find the rom. If you could just tell me where to find the rom, that’d make it easier. That’s the only issue I have here. Which file is the rom file is what I’m asking you. That’s all.
At this point, can you download the 1fichier one, then download this: https://archive.org/details/nNASOS1.8 (How it works: Download the zip of the files and extract the files into a folder, to extract a rom drag the rom onto the .exe the command prompt should popup and extract the ISO from the .dec file.). Then you will have a .iso file to put into the WBFS Manager.
Bro, are you some kind of bot? What manner of sorcery is this? You copy and pasting that sentence in parentheses? I literally saw that same sentence in parentheses from another dude on Reddit. That’s the same link I downloaded from. I haven’t gone to any other websites to download the zip of the files besides the website you linked me to. Look, bud. I’m trying to tell you that I downloaded the zip of the files from the same website you just gave me hours ago before this very comment. I extracted the zip of the files with winrar to a file I titled “wbfs”. Some random name. Now all I need to do is find the rom. I found the .exe file, but not the rom file. Now when you tell me this .dec file, I don’t know where that is located at, my dude. Of the 5 files in that zip, which of them is the rom? That’s what I’m asking you. Just answer the question, man. You repeating that won’t help me because I don’t know which of the 5 files in that zip is the rom file. Thus rendering your instructions useless. Just tell me which of the 5 files in that zip is the rom file. That’s all I’m asking, bro. How hard is that? Is it that difficult to be checking files, my dude? If it is, you could’ve just said something earlier instead of repeating the same useless instructions.
Yes it’s that hard since I’m just hired to rep comments about the links (inactive, want other links, etc…). I can’t answer your question properly because I don’t even have a wii device, I can only play games from this web on my computer but I don’t because I don’t have time for that. I can answer other people question about the install process because I learned and found how to do it on the internet myself but have I done it? No. Why? Cause like I said, I don’t have a device nor time. I copied and pasted that sentence because I found it and thought it might help. In the end, answer questions about how to install or how to play aren’t my job, I just do it because no one else does and I want to help. It seems like I can’t help you cause this game is a complex one so let’s hope that some players that love our this game see your comment can help you. I also recommend you upload a picture of those 5 files cause if we don’t do exactly what you did, we can’t pinpoint what 5 files look like, a picture of them would help a lot.
Alright. I got the picture. Turns out, it was 4 files, my bad. But of the 4 files, one of them is the .exe file. So basically, out of the 3 files, you’d have to somehow check which one is the rom file. If I needed to install more, tell me then because you only asked me to install and extract whatever was in the zip of files you mentioned. Everything else is irrelevant. https://gyazo.com/556f5a27524e4cf192e486f554a6472c
This is a folder you get after extracting the tool “nNASOS1.8” zip file, not this game. It’s the tool you use to get the .iso file from the .iso.dec file. Like I said “Download the zip of the files and extract the files into a folder, to extract a rom drag the rom onto the .exe the command prompt should popup and extract the ISO from the .dec file”. “the zip of the files and extract the files into a folder” here is the “nNASOS1.8”, “a rom” here is the game ^^
Alright. From the website you gave me, which do I download first? Here’s a picture of what it looks like and tell me which files I’m supposed to download because I’m still extremely disoriented.
To be easier, just download this one: https://1fichier.com/?fvkn11ldw537qcdxodlw and extract the file into a folder (let’s call it folder 1). Then download the game, extract it too, you get the .iso.dec file, drag it to the .exe of the program nNASOS1.8 (in folder 1), and you will get the .iso file, then install it like a normal wii game ^^
Okay. How exactly do you expect me to download the game, dude? I downloaded the files and extracted them into a folder. Now what? You just said to download it. How is that help? Download what exactly? Download the game? Which file is the game? I’m looking at the files and it’s the same as before. I see something that says mac and I use windows. I hardly think that makes a difference though. Just wanted to point that out. All the files in here are the same as I had downloaded a few days ago. Was my WBFS Manager supposed to detect one of the files or what? Because it can’t detect any right now. Only the folder which holds the 4 files. It can’t detect any of the 4 files in it though. Just the folder.
Did you download the game by this link: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/0B26V1l4c8C8HYm1yNGV3bTFiTkk or this link: https://1fichier.com/?rbr2wf1ho7lvxfr3vs89 ???
I’ve used both links at 2 different times. First was the Google Drive which yielded the same 4 files I told you about in the first place. Then it was the fichier website you sent me which I downloaded resulting in the same 4 files as before. I’ve been at an impasse since then. Just tell me which files to download first or something. Am I supposed to use both links? I only used each individually. Like after downloading from Google Drive, I deleted the files and downloaded from fichier. They both yielded the same files, btw.
Okay. My bad. I made a mistake with my comment I just posted today. The Google Drive has 2 files with one of them downloading as a notepad on my laptop. For whatever reason, it only downloads as a notepad when originally, it downloaded as a file. Remember how this all started? C’mon, man. The fichier website had the 4 files I mentioned. They’re both different downloads, my bad. But still, I’m at an impasse. Maybe if you downloaded from the Google Drive and tell me what to do from there because I’m extremely disoriented.
Okay. Hold up for a moment. Ignore the last 2 comments I just posted. I downloaded from Google Drive in another computer. IT DIDN’T download as a notepad this time. 2 files WBFS and WBFS1. Tell me what to do next. I don’t know which one is exe and which one is rom. So what exactly am I supposed to do this time? It’s NOT in a notepad this time. Just wanna let you know. It took a damn while to get this back to what it originally was. So what do I do now?
You can read these threads by yourself but I also read it and what you need to do to have 1 wbfs file only is that:
Option 1: recombine them in WII MANAGER and save it as ISO
Option 2: you need to rename both files
arc rise fantasia.wbfs
arc rise fantasia.wbf1
arc rise fantasia.wbfs.001
arc rise fantasia.wbfs.002
Extract it with 7 zip and you will have 1 wbfs file.
Does it have to be 7-zip or could winrar work too? Plus when I download the zip, it has 2 files. One of them is a notepad when originally it was an unknown file. I accidentally changed it to a notepad. Does that change anything or no
I think winrar will work too ^^ For the 2nd question, it’s unclear, I only know the answer for wbfs and wbfs1 problem but I do think that will change the case though ^^
Alright. It says I can’t rename the files for whatever reason when I open the archives as 7-zip. Am I supposed to rename the files before or after I extract them?
Rename them then extract them ^^ You can use option 1 too
Are there any other safe websites you know of that also has this game? We’re going to be here for a while and I don’t wanna be wasting your time like this. I haven’t made any progress since then.
Sadly I don’t, if I do, I may have a clearer instruction for you. Can I have a picture of how the notepad looks like? Cause you said that you had a wbfs and a wbfs1 type of file too :((
Yes. The wbf1 file. Not wbfs1. Wbf1 file. It became a notepad. I managed to fix the issue myself by deleting the notepad app thus making it impossible for the file to become a notepad. Your instructions of how to combine the files into Wii iso files are a bit complex for me. I’m not able to rename the files before extraction. That’s the problem here. Any idea how to fix that?
With the information and my imagination, my solution is that, in the folder, on the top left side, there are “file” , “home” , “share” , “view” . Click view, then check the box before the “file name extensions”, then I think you will be able to fix that, also change from “wbf1” into “wbfs1” too, I think that will stop it from become a notepad, not 100% sure but that’s my thought ^^
Okay. I opened up the 7-zip file that wasn’t extracted yet. Found the “file” and “view”. I did not find the “home” and the “share”. I clicked on view, but I couldn’t find the box you were talking about that came before the “file name extensions”. You know how to make that pop up or something? Still not able to rename the files. Here’s the picture of what it looked like when I did this. https://gyazo.com/e2b321b95e4fa30bd99acb651591adda
Oh, it’s in the folder so you need to extract it already ^^ https://fileinfo.com/help/windows_10_show_file_extensions
I’m still not able to rename it before extracting it. Are you telling me to just extract it now and THEN change the file names? I even checked the box for “file name extensions”.
Yes extract them first THEN change the file’s name cause you can’t change its name when you open it’s in 7z
What do I do after I extract them into a folder and rename them?
At that point, you will have only one WBFS file, not 2 (WBFS & WBFS1) then you can install it normally, I believe that the WBFS Manager will recognize it ^^
Okay. I haven’t renamed them yet. Tell me what I rename them to. Also, it’s still in 2 files even though I already extracted the zip. Is that what’s supposed to happen after extraction?
It’s like a way of extracting multi-part files to one ^^ https://youtu.be/OtgocG6x8mA
Okay. In zip part 1 of the files, there’s both files you mentioned. There’s wbfs and wbf1 files. But in part 2 zip of the files and the rest of the zip of the files only has a wbfs file. Like there’s 10 zips from that google drive you gave me. Part 1, the first zip, has a wbf1 file and a wbfs file. Part 2 and the others only have a wbfs file. No wbf1 file. Is that supposed to happen? Because if that is, then what do I do next after I rename the files like you said?
Oh my god you didn’t extract them into one? https://youtu.be/OtgocG6x8mA
Bruh. How the hell was I supposed to extract it into one? There’s 2 files in here.
This is part 1 of the zip: https://gyazo.com/30ca12b5d3493c5d6ebeee3bf1abb8d7
This is part 2 of the zip and pretty much the rest look the same after extraction: https://gyazo.com/855af189f46c83d57b4b59ed9f8bedd3
Now I want you to tell me how in God’s name I was supposed to extract it into one file and why all the other zip files have only 1 file in there while the first zip file has 2 files in there. You see my confusion here?
Did you watch the clip? One more if that still can’t make you understand the problem: https://youtu.be/ZqL-8Hq-Vp0/
The files have names: “RBSJ08.part01”, “RBSJ08.part02”, … to “RBSJ08.part10” because after finishing download all of them, you have to extract them into 1 folder, please watch the video. What inside each of them doesn’t matter, what matters is what will you get after extract all of them into one. They have to split a file into multiple parts because if they don’t, it will be too big and hard for everyone to download it. Therefore they will split it, then you have to download all the parts, then follow the videos.
I thought you just had problems with the installing process and didn’t mind to spend my time to help you, but it turned out that you don’t know much and messed up from the beginning. Then insisted on being right and wasted so much time of us because of that.
Dude, look. I wasn’t trying to be rude or anything. But look. I know that they compress files because they’re too big. I’ve been doing this to other games. It’s just the way you explained it is confusing to me. That’s all. I learn slowly, my dude.
Here. This is all of the files extracted into my file that I named “Sengoku Basara 2 Heroes”.
Now this is part 1 of the zip of files.
Now this is part 2 of the zip of files. The other parts look exactly the same.
Now if this is all considered correct, just tell me the next step, my dude. I didn’t mean to be rude. It’s cause you were frustrated about me not perceiving what you meant. I perceived what you meant, but I suppose you didn’t perceive what I meant so I posted some more pictures for you to get the idea. If this is correct, do I name all the files inside each zip that I extracted? You have the patience of a saint, my dude. It’s been a week or so and you’re still here. Most people would give up at this point in time, but you didn’t. So you have my gratitude for that. After this, I’m willing to pay you, my dude. Just help me out. I got like $50 in my Patreon account.
I don’t need you to pay me for this service, it’s not like that. It’s just that you said you had installed many other games and it just goes crazy.
In the first picture: https://gyazo.com/71a5ae5c5220e46fe243e4c514bbd2f5 this one. It’s not like that, it’s not extract each of them like that. If you watch the videos I sent you. They select all the ZIP files (in this case, from part 01 to 10). Then right click, then WinRAR, then choose the last one “Extract for…” (in this case I believe it’s “Extract for RBSJ08”
Okay. I extracted for RBSJ08 like you said. But take a look at this picture. I want to make sure I got everything right. If I did, tell me the next step and then the step after that.
I think you did good until now. I’m not 100% sure but I think the next step is rename both files: RBSJ08.wbfs (4,19GB) to RBSJ08.wbfs.001 and RBSJ08.wbfs.001 (WBF1 File, 106MB) to RBSJ08.wbfs.002, then extract then with 7 zip and you will have 1 wbfs file.
The source of that method is here: https://forums.launchbox-app.com/topic/37738-nintendo-wii-wbf-format-what-do-i-do-with-wbf1-files/
Alright. Here’s what happened. They turned into notepads. Also, the first file was a WBF1 file. NOT WBFS. So what you said really confused me, but I did what you asked and now I can’t even extract ANY of the files. https://gyazo.com/ca8f96e536765f9ee41b7f8c103ecaf4
So I finally decided to download the game and try it myself, even though I don’t have a wii device or an USB… But I did download wii backup manager too. It turned out that you don’t have to change the names, after extracting you have a folder with 2 files “RBSJ08.wbfs” and “RBSJ08.wbf1” inside, that’s enough, don’t need to do anything more. You open wii backup manager, click “Add”, then click that folder “RBSJ08”, it should recognize the game now. Sorry for the wait, I should have downloaded the game and try myself from the beginning.
Well, thank you for replying earlier than usual. Well, now you know my pain, my dude. Just a precaution. But next time, maybe try downloading the game as well to make sure you get the idea of what other people are going through, man. The other guys you just told to combine files and stuff. Yeah, well, they’re not going to be able to download the game since you just told them the wrong information. At any rate, Ima’ try it out now. I’ll let you know when it works.
Alright. I just tried it out now. It said I was supposed to format to NTFS or FAT. I’m not sure which. It kinda just said either. Which did you format to? That way it’ll be easier for me to figure out.
I think now you just have to transfer the game into your USB hard drives? I watched this video: https://youtu.be/Suobyf6yrQs , and I stopped the instruction there because I don’t have an USB hard drives (the one you use to put into your Wii device).
Alright. I got a problem. I’m not able to play the game. I can see the game in my USB, but I’m not able to play it. I’m able to play Sengoku Basara 3 Utage, but NOT Sengoku Basara 2 Heroes. They’re both in Japanese only so you can’t tell me that I gotta get region lock or something because I can clearly play Sengoku Basara 3 Utage. Just not Sengoku Basara 2 Heroes. Any idea on how I can play it? My Wii just fades to a black screen whenever I start up the game and freezes to the point where I gotta unplug the Wii and plug it in again.
I also forgot to mention. Maybe I’m using the app wrong because every time I use Wii Backup Manager, it downloads the game for me, but I’m never able to play them on my Wii. Although, WBFS Manager does the same, but the games actually work when they’re downloaded. So can you help me out here? I already tried downloading Sengoku Basara 2 Heroes, but it never gets detected by WBFS Manager. Wii Backup Manager, however, DOES detect the file for Sengoku Basara 2 Heroes.
Like I said the other day, I’m not an expert in this field and I haven’t even used Wii Backup Manager and WBFS Manager.
Cause my Wii Backup Manager does detect Sengoku Basara 2 Heroes too, but I didn’t continue the install so I can’t really help you atm, I can only say that you might want to find more tutorials on how to use Wii Backup Manager properly, like this one: https://youtu.be/DsDtPN4Brhw . Because you said that all the games you downloaded by Wii Backup Manager, you couldn’t play them.
For WBFS Manager, I tried to install it too, but I didn’t have an empty hard drive as an USB… to format as a default hard drive so I couldn’t add the game into it, so I don’t know if my WBFS Manager can detect the folder ot not.
I also tried to combine 2 files into 1 one more time with 7 zip today and it worked. So I recommend you to try to do it to see if your WBFS Manager can detect the game now if it’s only 1 file.
So this is what I did:
RBSJ08.wbfs to RBSJ08.wbfs.001
RBSJ08.wbf1 to RBSJ08.wbfs.002
After that, they will show like this:
Then I will right click on “RBSJ08.wbfs.001″ and choose 7-Zip, then choose ” Extract to “RBSJ08.wbfs\” “, then I will have a folder with only one RBSJ08.wbfs file in there.
For the problem where your 002 File appears as a notepad, try right click, choose “Open With”, then uncheck the one “Always use this app to open … files”.
Yeah. The problem with what you did is because it’s different. The first file is different than mine. Take a closer look.
How did yours end up as wbfs instead of wbf1?
Tell me where you downloaded yours.
No, mine was wbf1 too, but like I said, I renamed it to “RBSJ08.wbfs.002” and agreed to change the type of the file ^^
I just deleted the files thinking you used a different website to download the files. Well, here we go again.
